Not everything works out as plan but make the most of it. In our most recent episode, Tommy Chong was supposed to join us but had technical issues, no one’s fault; shit happens.
When it was confirmed Tommy wasn’t able to make it, we saw him pop in, but his device wasn’t connecting; my heart sank, but I knew it had nothing to do with the man, the myth, the legend, nor did it have to do with us. It was technical.
So the show must go on. I find it funny to write that, “the show,” but that’s what Tom and I created. Something beyond the Google Hangout we started with. If you’re reading this, you know what I’m talking about and are a part of our journey.
We’re still scheduled to talk to Tommy in a prerecorded episode next Wednesday, and I feel a little easier about that. On average, we’ve been having over 100 eyeballs join our conversation along with the chatroom chatter, anything more than 3 people blows my mind, and I’m glad Tommy had technical difficulties because if weed Jesus went live with us, I honestly think we would break a thousand eyeballs at once, easily.
