The Republican Senate, led by Idaho republican Mike Crapo, gutted the SAFE Banking Act, and yanked several other pro-cannabis bills from the budget to keep marijuana prohibition and the “war on drugs” going strong into its 6th decade.
We blame the republicans in the Senate for the continued cannabis prohibition, but some point out that if the republicans supported ending marijuana prohibition – then the democrats would support it.
