Florida Weed Laws – the Florigrown v. DOH case – Medical Marijuana in Florida Explained

Florida has Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers (MMTCs) that are found both under the Medical Marijuana Amendment (MMA) that amended the Florida constitution in 2016 by 71% of the citizens’ vote. Florida statutes passed by the legislature have different language than that amendment – so the law could be unconstitutional. Stay tuned to cannabis legalization news to see what happens in the Florigrown case. If they win, the state of Florida may go the way of Oklahoma and have a huge new industry sprout up.
